- So it’s a bit rough around the edges, but it’s hard to not like Jump Stars. From its cutesy playable characters to its easy to pick up gameplay, it’s accessible and enjoyable for all, no matter their skill level. It’s undoubtedly a shame that there’s no option to play online, making it only suitable for those who have some like-minded friends close by, but for those who have no problem with that it’ll offer hours of hilarious fun.

Unlike almost every other game out there, you cannot play single player. There are also just a handful of game modes to choose from. It’s a party game you might come back to when the mood strikes. The fake game show announcer with dual personalities injects some, well, personality into the game, and the characters are amusing to play with.
Paulmichael Contreras · Jun 09, 2017 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - As far as local party games go, Jump Stars is not exactly bad, but it's certainly missing a lot of the components that make such titles shine. It's simple, it's boring, it lacks variety, and there's no point in buying it when there are far better alternatives out there - and, yes, that includes the world of PC gaming, also.
Ofisil · Aug 25, 2017 Reviewed on PCRead full review - A quiz game that does little to hold your attention after the initial impressions.
Dan Murphy · Jul 02, 2017 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - Overall the game is an average mid-tier indie game that doesn’t live up to its potential. With it being restricted to at least 2 players it really lowers the actual times it’s possible to play it making it totally impossible for solo play limiting playability. The game also suffers from repetitive mini games after a few hours, although all of that is true it is a solid party game that I’d recommend to anyone who has people over often enough or someone with young children who would enjoy the simplicity.
