Critic Reviews
- However, the game’s few shortcomings don’t really detract from the fun you’ll have playing Infestor. The concept is a lot of fun, the levels are cleverly designed, and the graphics have that charming old school feel that Ravenous is known for. As it stands, Infestor is good. But with a few tweaks it could be great.
Erik Carlson · Feb 14, 2013 Reviewed on iOS - Infestor is a puzzle platformer from Ravenous Games that has some interesting ideas, but just never really capitalizes on them.
Carter Dotson · Jan 21, 2013 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - Infestor is built on a good, solid foundation. Hopefully we’ll see future updates that add new levels, more puzzle variety, and maybe some additional challenges and/or surprises. Don’t be afraid to give it a whirl right now, though. Infestor is one pile of biohazardous lime Jell-O who’s worth knowing.
Nadia Oxford · Jan 21, 2013 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - The core concept of Infestor has potential. It could have been a quirky puzzle platformer, but there’s no challenge here. It’s far too easy, and there’s too little variation in what you’re required to do. Unfortunately, I’m recommending you avoid possession.
Ben Bulbeck · Jul 18, 2021 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Infestor is a puzzle-platform snack that won’t leave a bad taste, but won’t fill you up either. Sure, popping humans never gets old, but it’s the bits between the popping that feel familiar and not particularly challenging. On balance, you might be better infesting your money elsewhere.
Dave Ozzy · May 20, 2021 Reviewed on Series X|SRead full review - Inhabit the bodies of humans that have one innate quality needed to get you to the next human or the end of the level. It's short, to the point, and fun.
Dave Flodine · Jan 25, 2013 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - Still, Infestor is an enjoyable platformer with a clever twist. There are a few areas where it lacks polish, and for some reason it keeps flashing up achievements even when you already have them, but it shows that Ravenous Games is much more than a one trick pony.
