  • While it may not be the most convincing package to get players to return to Hekseville, Gravity Rush Remastered is by far the best way to enjoy Sony’s underappreciated action game. The combat, while still a weak link, feels much better using a controller, and the game’s art style has kept this Vita stunner looking impressive. If you haven’t played the Vita original, then I fullheartedly recommend checking out Gravity Rush Remastered.

  • It's one of the good remastered versions out there and it's a good time as any to take a look at what was a classic Vita game, and is worth the price of admission in the end, especially for those fans of soaring in the sky.

  • While most of this generation’s avalanche of double-dips have felt cynical and unwarranted, Gravity Rush truly benefits from a change of system and a chance to reach a comparatively huge audience. It is, simply put, a better game than it used to be, and I can’t complain about that.

Gravity Rush is truly a unique experience. The colorful visuals paint a world that is unlike anything else. The large black outlines accent the characters, and the story is whimsical and powerful at the same time. Kat is a great character, and the core mechanics make for a truly interesting experience. Playing with gravity creates both unique combat and world traversal.

  • However, what the developers are doing with a remaster is not simply to squeeze more money out of the consumer; Gravity Rush: Remastered is giving people the opportunity to experience what is genuinely an interesting and entertaining game, one that they might have missed because of the platform on which it was released.

  • GRAVITY RUSH REMASTERED A superb action game that does far, far more than just depend on the novelty of gravity switching. It deserved so much more than to be ignored on Vita, and you simply must play it on PS4.

  • Gravity Rush comes off as formulaic at times, but it's also a wonderful joyride that's been enhanced by a generous remastering effort that makes it feel right at home on PS4. Despite its problems, Gravity Rush is an adventure worth taking not just because there's hardly anything like it, but because it leverages its distinct gameplay to great effect, freeing you from the hold of gravity in a world worth exploring.

  • Gravity Rush Remastered is close to perfect. The original Vita game was very well received, and while this update doesn’t exactly push the PS4 to its limits, it still looks and plays extremely well. It’s got a big open city to explore that’s intricately designed and just feels nice to walk through. Each of the four major areas has its own design style, and all of them are packed with events and other reasons to explore.

  • One of the best Vita games becomes one of Sony’s best PlayStation 4 offerings. While its portable origins mean the game never truly pushes the console on a technical level, Bluepoint has refreshed and reworked the original Gravity Rush with the care it deserved for its debut in high definition.

  • Gravity Rush Remastered is a great upgrade from the PS Vita original thanks to a solid 60fps 1080p presentation. The joy of exploring the world of Hekseville is still very much intact, with the gravity shifting ability once again acting as the main source of fun and enjoyment. However, the boring missions combine with poor combat mechanics to make for a lesser experience than the concept deserves.
