  • A stunning game capable of bringing joy to those who play it, Gravity Ghost provides a phenomenal experience where our eyes and ears beg for more. With a heartfelt narrative and a beautiful soundtrack, it not only provides a visual experience but also incredible gravity physics and movement. It is a great addition to any library as it is easy to pick up, is surprisingly relaxing, and helps you wind down after a long day.

  • If you’re looking for a relaxing platformer with a bittersweet story, then look no further than Gravity Ghost: Deluxe Edition. A beautiful game that I really lost myself in, I couldn’t help but come away charmed by the experience. Even if the puzzles don’t quite feel that good, this is one ghost who’s gravity should pull you in.

It does a great job of creating compelling mechanics, so it’s slightly disappointing the bigger design where everything comes together to make really interesting or challenging gameplay fails to materialise. But it absolutely succeeds in creating a tranquil world of weirdness, and in a world where space stags desperately need you to reunite them with their antlers, bemoaning the lack of a challenge feels like a rather trivial complaint.

  • For all the love that I could tell was put into it, Gravity Ghost's story ultimately feels stilted, but I sure as hell appreciate its ambition, and it’s otherwise a novel, excellently paced, and consistently clever puzzle-platformer.

  • Just when Gravity Ghost is hitting its stride, it comes to a quick close. The puzzles are never too challenging, but if you can relax and go with the flow, the simple platforming sequences have an almost zen-like tranquility. Still, Iona’s heart-wrenching story is clearly the game’s heart. I loved piecing together Iona’s history and watching this coming-of-age tale about a young girl trying to find her place in the universe.

  • It's easy to capture the happiest moments of being a child: friendships, vacations, exploring the vast, uncharted world in front of you. But it's hard to convey the toughest moments, those moments that we compartmentalize and repress beyond recognition as adults. And it's especially hard to convey such moments in language and images that both children and adults can appreciate and understand. That Gravity Ghost accomplishes this feat with such seeming ease is a testament to its imagination and its power.

  • Overall, Gravity Ghost is pretty great. The gameplay exists in an odd space where it would require appreciable skill in order to play it well, but does not feature any sort of punishment for playing poorly. Though it only rarely can be described as difficult, it can still be satisfying.

  • Gravity Ghost Deluxe Edition is an art piece that is enjoyable for what it is. Playing it is honestly the weakest part of the whole thing, though it does manage to be fun from time to time. The creative display on work here is a clear winner, even if not every idea feels like it works in the end product. As a whole, this isn't a must-play, but for fans of something a little different, it is a decent jaunt around the universe.

  • Gravity Ghost is an almost meditative puzzling experience. The gameplay is simple to understand and puzzles are quick to complete, and with no pressure of failure it's quite relaxing. Some issues with movement could be better but overall if you want a game you just want to relax with then Gravity Ghost is a good choice.
