- Review: Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok (Nintendo Switch 2) – Digitally Downloaded JRPG / Nintendo Switch 2 / Reviews Review: Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok (Nintendo Switch 2) Endless more.
· Jul 16, 2026 Reviewed on Switch 2Read full review - Granblue Fantasy Relink: Endless Ragnarok builds on the original JRPG to give us more to do after the end.
· Jul 13, 2026 Reviewed on Switch 2Read full review - Relink's major expansion is highly impressive, but it's important to set expectations of what it brings; it doesn't completely revamp the game from top to bottom, but it builds upon the endgame of Cygames' action RPG with many new quests, characters, and systems to power-up your roster once more.
Josh Torres · Jul 07, 2026 Reviewed on PCRead full review - As a nine-year-long passion project of its developers, Granblue Fantasy: Relink oozes promise and style boosted by addictive action gameplay, a large cast and engaging mechanics. However, without more to offer endgame players and perhaps a bit of buffing in the narrative side, it’s likely to fizzle out and be eclipsed by larger titles. I can only hope the developer shows the same labor of love in supporting it, as they have in crafting it.
Defa · Apr 05, 2024 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - Granblue Fantasy: Relink bundles a lot of familiar elements together into one abridged RPG experience, with varying results. The combat is fast and furious, but it can sometimes feel monotonous, especially in longer battles. The story is a great catch-up tale for non-Granblue fans, but it doesn't do anything to stand out from its RPG counterparts. The looks and sounds of the world are wonderful though, with Granblue's signature style bursting to life with vibrant color. It doesn't revolutionize Granblue Fantasy, but Relink serves as a solid refresh for the former gacha game.
Jason Fanelli · Feb 07, 2024 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Granblue Fantasy: Relink does not reinvent the wheel, but what it does as an Action RPG is excellent in every way. The rich lore, fleshed-out combat, and trove of activities, with friends or otherwise, are bound to leave you more than satisfied.
AndresPlays · Feb 05, 2024 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - While there's room for improvement in a few places, Granblue Fantasy: Relink is still quite impressive. It has been much anticipated, and Cygames has delivered something that truly captures the essence of an engaging adventure. Even though its primary narrative isn't very long, it still delivers a stripped-down story without any unnecessary filler, which is remarkable. Whether you're playing solo or with pals online, Relink is a fantastic journey. But for a complete experience, it’s best played with friends. It's exciting and fills your urgent hunger quickly. If you're looking for a unique battle experience, you should join other postgame players. And if you're a fan of Monster Hunter or have enjoyed playing Final Fantasy XVI, I can't recommend Granblue Fantasy: Relink highly enough for you.
Rayan · Feb 05, 2024 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - Granblue Fantasy: Relink delivers a very polished experience with a main story that packs plenty of momentum. Combat is very kinetic but simple to handle. Perhaps that's detrimental when boss fights stretch into long encounters but the chaotic spectacle is thankfully easy to read. It's a shame the side content retreads old haunts and the post-game becomes a repetitive grind. What's here is a decent package but I wish the combat had a few more options to explore.
Mike · Feb 03, 2024 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - Relink is a resounding success for Cygames and players alike — it brings the series to Western audiences with aplomb, continues the success of the Granblue video game releases after Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, and sets up a promising future for Granblue as a franchise. Remember, Granblue Fantasy is only 10 years old as a series. With recent announcements by Cygames of new characters and bosses to come, there is much more to look forward to for Relink. I leave you with the hope that Granblue Fantasy: Relink captures your curiosity for the series as it did with me. Remember, no one outruns the Grandcypher!

Story
Granblue Fantasy takes place in the Sky Realm, a world where myriad islands float in a great blue expanse. Take your role as captain of a skyfaring crew, joined by a scrappy little dragon named Vyrn and a young girl with mysterious powers named Lyria. Together you sail with a colorful cast of crewmates, including kings and misfits alike, for Estalucia, a fabled island beyond the end of the skies.
In the Zegagrande Skydom, islands are guarded by powerful creatures known as primal beasts and winds carry tales of a secretive organization known as the Church of Avia. Unveil a web of intrigue reaching far beyond the borders of Zegagrande and engage in a battle for the fate of the Sky Realm itself.
Gameplay
Engage in real-time combat with a party of four in this character action RPG—choose from a diverse roster of skyfarers, each with their own unique weapons, skills, and combat styles. Teamwork makes the dream work with party-based mechanics such as Link Attacks and Chain Bursts to help you crush foes in spectacular fashion. Tackle quests solo or with the help of others for up to 4-player co-op and take down treacherous foes to score rare loot to further enhance your gear. Every enemy and party formation has its own strengths and weaknesses—the key to victory lies in working out how these pieces fit together.
