Critic Reviews
- Sharper, smoother, and ready for crossplay: Reloaded keeps the brutal rhythm of Gears and enhances the sights and sounds.
Nusrat Choity · Aug 27, 2025 Reviewed on PCRead full review - AMAZING Gears of War: Reloaded is a lot of fun, plain and simple. Its story sustains a robust pace while the action barely lets up.
Varun Karunakar · Aug 27, 2025 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - The original Gears Of War turns from Xbox 360 exclusive to multiformat PS5 remaster but how does the game hold up after nearly 20 years?
· Aug 27, 2025 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - One of the most iconic Xbox franchises ever lands on PS5 with somewhat of a graphical thud. On its second remaster, Gears of War: Reloaded won’t impress visually. However, with a campaign that still has something to offer despite its dated design, and an excellent multiplayer mode on top, this is a welcome introduction to the Gears of War series. 20 years later, the game that started it all is still more than worth playing.
