Considering the fact that the online arena space on mobile devices is limited, Fright Fight is a noble inaugural effort for the studio, and delivers a decent fighting game with an agreeable price of entry. I just wish a little more polish went into it, there were more fighters to choose from, and it was a premium title with everything included.

Fright Fight's real appeal lies online with friends (or enemies), and in that regard it's a blast. With the addition of a few more stages and several more characters, Fright Fight would be a contender for one of the best beat-em-ups on iOS.

The only catch of Fright Fight is that Local (offline) mode isn't available yet. I'd love to practice my fighting skills and upgrading my character by training on my own. No chance so far. Regardless, Fright Fight has all the ingredients to become a reference within the genre.

Really, though, the core scrapping in Fright Fight just isn't quite involving enough. It's immediately satisfying, but just a little too button-mashy and one note, and there's too little in the way of pay-off or variety. An immediately fun multiplayer scrapper that requires an injection of depth and content if it's to remain on your playlist.
