- There's so much to love about Football Manager 2022. Unlike FIFA, which has stalled in recent years, SI continues to implement improvements across the board. This is the best Football Manager to date and had me fall back in love.
Rich Edmonds · Nov 17, 2021 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Football Manager 2022 is the richest, most nuanced, and most dangerously addictive iteration of Sports Interactive's yearly sim series yet.
Shubhankar Parijat · Nov 12, 2021 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Football Manager 2022 is engrossing and fun but its very depth can be a problem for any player who wants to try as many clubs and ideas as possible.
Cosmin Vasile · Nov 11, 2021 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Football Manager 2022 is yet another improvement on the long-running series, one that brings the beautiful game to life more than ever before and recreates both the small and large moments that make the sport so engaging. The options are near limitless, and the game puts even more at your fingertips, from the Data Hub to improved staff meetings, all adding onto a revamped match engine. This is the closest Sports Interactive has come to perfection, with only small elements feeling aged and needing polishing.
Chris Wray · Nov 07, 2021 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Flashes of godlike genius interspersed with periods of mysterious mediocrity. It's a vocation rather than a game, but as the saying goes: if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life.
Matt Killeen · Nov 04, 2021 Reviewed on PCRead full review - All in all, Football Manager 2022 is another sublime sports simulation. It once again proves that you can enjoy football games without directly controlling the players. Its new additions add to an experience already brimming with depth, and the refinement of the gameplay style means that you’ll struggle not to lose yourself within Sports Interactive’s digital training ground.
LUKE HINTON · Nov 04, 2021 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Whether you’re taking West Ham to their deserved place at the top of the premier league, nervously preparing for the Bavarian Derby, or fighting bravely for scraps all the way down in the Vanarama leagues, Football Manager 2022 is a compelling simulation of what it’s like to actually manage a football club, with none of the risk of accidentally doing a Big Sam-esque gaffe. Still, if football and spreadsheets aren’t your bag, there’s nothing for you here.
Jake Tucker · Nov 04, 2021 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Whatever your management style, Football Manager 2022 Xbox Edition has your back. It’s one of the most adaptive and slickly designed simulations out there, full stop. Kick around in its shallows or dive down deep, and they both feel as satisfying as the other.
Dave Ozzy · Dec 05, 2021 Reviewed on Series X|SRead full review - It has been polished a bit here and there, but nothing that you will notice as anything bigger. What we are instead offered is the same old material. And there is nothing wrong with that. The series is still what we have learned to like, but the question is whether it is time to release a new game every two years instead. Something tells me that will not be the case.
Johan Vahlström · Nov 09, 2021 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Football Manager 2022 is a good iterative step with the improvement of the matchday engine and the addition of the data hub. The data hub especially, as well as regular staff meetings, bring the franchise another step closer to the full management experience.
