  F1 2021 is an amazing title that is guaranteed to bring you hours of fun, thanks to the multiple career options and many quick races. The graphics and sounds are high quality, while still making sure you can enjoy a high and smooth frame rate for the best experience, all while having plenty of customization options. The game has an extremely high realism factor and it really feels that you are the boss of your own company as you decide where you need to invest your research.

  Overall, F1 2021 serves up the most complete and well-rounded experience to date. Annual improvements aside, Braking Point alone would be enough for me to jump in, but the fact that Codemasters have gone to this length to provide a complete package is admirable. There is really very little to dislike about this iteration and it provides a very solid foundation for the series going forward into the new era of consoles.

  Overall, I find the game to run much smoother than F1 2020. It's great to see codemasters actually fixing issues from the last game to this game but only time will tell. Is it worth buying if you already own F1 2020? I don't think so, unless you are a hardcore F1 fan and really want to try Braking Point.

  F1 2021 is the most fun you can have in a Formula driver’s cockpit. Braking Point brings the kind of drama you didn’t realize you needed in your racing life, even if it does get a little cringeworthy on occasion. This wonderful looking and sounding Formula racer shines on the PS5, even if some of the platform’s features are under-utilized at this time.

  F1 2021 has undeniably struggled with COVID and the limitations it has put on both the sport and the game. However, either despite or because of these limitations, this manages a step forward that the series failed to take two years ago, it brings a genuine story to the game.

  F1 2021 is a great racing simulator. It offers a plethora of personal vehicle customization that opens up a lot to play around with. It’s a game where the racing mechanics are rather in-depth. However, if you’re not already a fan of Formula One to begin with then it can take some effort to get used to what this game offers.

  It all shapes up to make F1 2021 more than, well, F1 2020+1. The new game has applied a generous amount of polish to the things that it carried forward, and the new modes, such as Braking Point and the two-player career mode, add some appreciable entertainment to a solid racing game. It is equally enjoyable to an F1 nut as to someone who is entering the sport fandom, and I have been having a great time whenever I fire it up for a few laps.

  Braking Point, however, is almost worth the price of admission alone, despite feeling slightly undercooked in some aspects: the narrative, the presentation and tension are truly great, and Codemasters’ first attempt at delivering an actual story mode is worthy of praise.
