Critic Reviews
- ENYO is a turn-based roguelike strategy game where we attempt to get as far as possible into a dungeon full of enemies using only a hook and a shield.
Erich Zann · May 10, 2022 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - ENYO brings very, very challenging gameplay, which will test your wits and your strategy skills. Gameplay is also surprisingly easy to get right into, at least at first. There’s a great unique ancient Greek art style that looks good and runs smoothly. It also sounds good. Even advanced strategy players will face a very punishing and steep learning curve, turning off casual players almost immediately. This game is almost 4 times heavier on the iOS than its Android counterpart.
Daniel Adrian Sanchez · Sep 16, 2016 Reviewed on iOS, And - ENYO is pretty great fun, but doesn't quite hit the high bar that Tinytouchtalesset for themselves with Card Crawl. It's still worth playing if you enjoy roguelikes, but otherwise it may not hold your attention for long.
Campbell Bird · Sep 10, 2016 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - As a kind of violent puzzle game, ENYO is reasonably rewarding, but be prepared – you’re going to have to be pretty patient when you’re first learning the ropes.
Jennifer Allen · Sep 07, 2016 Reviewed on iOS, AndRead full review - Even though I’m a big fan of Card Crawl, I found ENYO to be slightly disappointing in terms of content and controls. If you don’t mind ads and less-than-optimal controls, then ENYO is worth a look, especially since it’s free. But I think holding off until it’s more polished is a better choice.
Christine Chan · Sep 06, 2016 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - All of the action is presented with a design aesthetic that nails the classic Greek art style. The best part is that each time you lose, it feels like you can do better with subtle adjustments. One problem is that it’s a bit tedious to activate or switch the current power for every single move. Enyo is a compelling strategy game that is well worth picking up.
Trevor Sheridan · Sep 02, 2016 Reviewed on iOS - A smartly-designed challenging roguelike that eschews the usual means of action in favor of tactical use of the environment and enemies.

About the game
Trailers & Screenshots:
ENYO is a tactical roguelike about hook & shield combat. Grab your hook & shield and descent as Enyo, the greek goddess of war, into an ever changing labyrinth to recover 3 legendary artifacts. ENYO's gameplay is based on the idea of indirect combat. Enemies can only be defeated by pushing or pulling them into burning lava pits or deadly spiked walls.
