- Driveclub Bikes works on a lot of levels; it’s a great expansion, it’s a great game and it’s made virtual bike racing fun again. The beautiful scenery and a bevy of ways to play help add to the already great feeling of tearing along at breakneck speeds. As a standalone, it works as a solid bike racing game. As an expansion, it’s that and more. While you’ll get the most out of the game if you’re already a Driveclub player, it’s definitely worth looking at if you’re a race fan in general.
Doug Mercer · Nov 17, 2015 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - Despite being smaller than regular Driveclub and lacking variety, this is serious fun, surprisingly accessible and features a more sophisticated handling model than the main game. Great stuff.
Justin Towell · Nov 02, 2015 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - A fast, twitchy and highly challenging racer that's essentially a sophisticated arcade game. It's a lot of fun, and, most importantly of all, it works as it should - delivering excellent multiplayer and social challenges. A good expansion to DriveClub that offers a whole new way to play the game.
Jaz Rignall · Oct 30, 2015 Reviewed on PS4 - Lovers of DriveClub will find it an excellent new challenge in a game they’re very familiar with, demanding that they relearn how to play. New players, meanwhile, will find the delights of DriveClub’s different social features and looks integrated into a great bike racer. New handling model shakes up a familiar game, and is well worth a look.
Dan Naylor · Nov 14, 2015 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - In some ways, Driveclub Bikes is Evolution and Sony’s opportunity to rehabilitate DriveClub’s image in the eyes of the public, just as The Taken King redeemed many of the flaws of Destiny. Outside of the online issues that persisted for far, far too long, it was hardly a bad game, and it’s excellent and rewarding handling model has effortlessly been replicated with the bikes.
Stefan L · Nov 04, 2015 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - The game's come on leaps and bounds since its launch last year, and with the addition of bikes, there's never been a better time to give it a try. The motorcycles aren't especially realistic, but the sublime sense of speed and challenging tracks mean that there's much more depth here than your average arcade racer. For fans of the main game, this add-on is nigh on essential – and for everyone else, it deserves your attention at the very least.
Sammy Barker · Oct 31, 2015 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - All in all Driveclub Bikes is a nice add-on, one which offers something new, even for veterans. Racing with motorcycles takes a bit of time to get used to, and the cornering is a bit tricky at first, but they make even the most tired tracks feel like new again. Plus the new campaign has so much to see and do that it takes many hours to collect all of the stars. However, if you want to experience a realistic motorbike simulator, this is probably not going to be for you.
Leevi Rantala · Oct 30, 2015 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - As a standalone package, Driveclub: Bikes is not only an enjoyable experience, but also fantastic value for money. It may not have quite enough bikes yet and the new skill events are a flop, but the rest is a testament to just how much Evolution Studios has polished its racing formula.
