Critic Reviews

  • The game is brimming with fun shooting, a goofy premise, and a good variety of unlockables that are sure to keep players coming back for a few more rounds after completion.

  • Donuts’n’Justice is short and sweet, literally. Dish out some justice and take out waves of enemies in this 2D, horizontal side scroller. With only a few levels, the game can be completed quickly. But I bet you a donut that you have fun playing it.

  • Donuts‘n’Justice is a retro game with a decent retro look and feel. Local co-op is a nice touch. There’s limited replay value due to only a few stages in the game. I think it is good for achievement hunters as you will be able to knock this title out in less than an hour but it’s one you will probably play and forget quickly.

  • The premise behind Donuts‘n’Justice is undoubtedly solid, but any campiness ends up being short-lived, and there’s not enough meat on the bone for these supercops to chow down on. Sadly, these lethal weapons often need a holster.

  • Ultimately, the lack of replayability doesn’t take too much away from the main experience. Donuts’n’Justice is still a great game. It’s wacky, it’s simplistic, and it’s good fun. It also pulls off the 1980s setting brilliantly. It’s certainly a very short game, but I don’t think that hinders it too much.

About the game

Our two policemen are charming tough guy antiheroes who hate criminals, and together they’re shooting to make a difference in their community. Blast ammo or toss grenades at hoodlum punks, and take down the head honchos of the syndicates terrorizing these streets.
