- Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition is a fantastic example of developers going out of their way to ensure that a PC game is specifically tailored to work on consoles. It's also a great way to introduce console players to a challenging style of game they might not normally play. Perhaps the only real sin pertaining to this game is the sin of sloth, because there's so much content that hardcore players will likely sit on their couch and play until they're dragged outside.
Jeb Haught · Dec 14, 2015 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - Divinity: Original Sin is an excellent role-playing game that's made even better with the Enhanced Edition. Updated graphics, fully-voiced dialog and an expanded story make it worthwhile even for those who've already played the original game. I got a lot of mileage out of this one.
Ian Miles Cheong · Nov 13, 2015 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Even a year on, Divinity is still one of the best roleplaying experiences of the decade, particularly if you enjoy the old school stylings of a pulled back camera and heavy dialogue. There are some strange design “improvements” that will hopefully become optional in future updates, but overall this version of Divinity is a stellar improvement on an already excellent game.
hristopher Coke · Nov 06, 2015 Reviewed on PCRead full review - There isn’t much wrong with Original Sin outside of the fact that there simply may be too much of it. In a time when games are releasing on a weekly basis, this is a daunting experience that requires the utmost dedication. Still, for anyone who loves the turn-based genre, it doesn’t get much better than this.
Ken McKown · Nov 05, 2015 Reviewed on XB1Read full review - Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition stands out as an accomplishment that Larian Studios should be proud of. It shows their commitment to detail and to providing fans a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The game truly is enhanced in every sense of the word and should serve as a great introduction for console gamers to the world of hardcore PC RPG experiences.
Shawn Petraschuk · Nov 05, 2015 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - Granted, even among its many improvements, Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition is not a perfect experience, but it sure is unique. It’s a grand adventure that rewards those who are patient enough to wade through some of the less polished aspects with incredibly rich dialogue, a huge world to affect and explore and much more besides.
William Schwartz · Nov 03, 2015 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Perhaps the best compliment that one could pay Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition is that it is absolutely Divinity: Original Sin in every sense of the name. Sure, it is probably a better idea, given the option, to play this insanely deep RPG with a mouse and keyboard instead of a controller, but those without a gaming rig will be able to get the full experience without losing anything.
Matt Whittaker · Oct 28, 2015 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - If you want the RPG with the most skills, the most stats to consider, and a world that constantly makes meaningful use of every line on your character sheet, there’s nothing else quite like Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition. You can find RPGs that are prettier, more accessible, or less busy, but very few are as dedicated to the true spirit of role-playing as this one is.
Vince Ingenito · Oct 26, 2015 Reviewed on PS4, XB1Read full review - Ultimately, playing Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition on consoles is a fantastic experience. It may not be the best way to play, as PC still reigns supreme, but it’s a fantastic version of an already great game. If you’re willing to roll the die, and have luck decide your fate, then you’ll have a blast playing through Larian Studios’ update of Divinity: Original Sin.
Tyler Treese · Oct 26, 2015 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - Where dinner and a movie may cost you around $60 and require driving around and wearing a face mask, Divinity Original Sin: Enhanced Edition is available on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Steam for the low price of $40 and can be played comfortably from home.
