- It is a bit of a grind to earn the currency to unlock the tokens for new Gods, but with the Founder’s Edition coming with all the available God’s unlocked players will have enough variety to sustain them and they can build a stash of those tokens for the new God’s as they release.
Terrence Johnson · Jan 12, 2023 Reviewed on Series X|SRead full review - There's a good base supporting Divine Knockout. The fighting mechanics work well enough, considering how it differs from traditional platform fighting games, and the action is measured and not chaotic. The small variety in fighting game modes works fine, but the real test is going to be how quickly the team can come up with new fighters and arenas.
Cody Medellin · Dec 30, 2022 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Still, it is what it is, and the main issue is the lack of any kind of tactical play in Divine Knockout (DKO). The best of these games have characters that can counter the moves of others, and that is entirely missing here. Just hammer X to win!
Paul Renshaw · Jan 08, 2023 Reviewed on Series X|SRead full review - Divine Knockout (DKO) is a gorgeous game, and its gameplay is a blast, but it drops the ball in terms of its single-player offerings, and a lot of its content is missing at launch, with a couch co-op option being strangely absent.
Jon Wilson · Dec 18, 2022 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - I may have jumped on the Divine Knockout (DKO) train a bit late but holy hot darn, am I having fun with it! From a varied cast of different-playing gods to a spectacular cartoonish game world and phenomenally fun gameplay; you'll have a great time with DKO.
