- A return to Blackout and proper battle royale
· Mar 29, 2026 Reviewed on PC, PS4, XB1Read full review - Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is Warzone, but on the go. The visuals suffer, but the game plays just like you remember and it works. If future updates can address that and some settings, along with continuing the fantastic content pipeline, Warzone Mobile can grow the scene further.
David Burdette · Apr 09, 2024 Reviewed onRead full review - Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile includes all the best elements of Warzone, while speeding up and streamlining matches and using cross-progression to make this a meaningful extension of the traditional experience.
Phil Hornshaw · Apr 02, 2024 Reviewed on iOS, AndRead full review - Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile tweaks the formula for Warzone as a whole, but some things remain the same. The player is dropped into a map and tasked with being the last person left alive, the safe area gradually dropping due to "poison gas". It's a gameplay structure that's served the subgenre well, but Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile has some other struggles that leave it feeling stale.
Rob Gordon · Apr 02, 2024 Reviewed onRead full review - Warzone Mobile could have been a potential game changer in the Battle Royale genre now plagued with multiple issues that spoils an experience that was hyped.
Saurabh · Mar 31, 2024 Reviewed onRead full review - Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile offers engaging modes and near console-quality visuals in a free-to-play portable format that’s perfect for taking out and about - provided you have a phone powerful enough to run it.
Dashiell Wood · Mar 26, 2024 Reviewed onRead full review - Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is a fast-paced FPS Battle Royale game with up to 120 players and several multiplayer game-modes.
NimbleThor · Mar 22, 2024 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - Despite some teething issues, Warzone has shown enough in its first few days to suggest that its here to stay, at least more than Blackout did. Its shooting is satisfying, its map rewarding to explore, and it offers more than enough interesting concepts like the Gulag and Contracts to make each match feel wholly unique, wherever you land. We’ll see you out there.
Lloyd Coombes · Jun 14, 2022 Reviewed on PC, PS4, XB1Read full review - Warzone is a great sophomore attempt at a battle royale from Call of Duty, which finally manages to carve out its own identity with interesting spins on the existing formula. Its subversion of death and the nail-biting Gulag duels give you more ways to stay in a match, while also forcing you to be aware of your surroundings even after wiping a rival squad.
Alessandro Barbosa · Mar 27, 2020 Reviewed on PC, PS4, XB1Read full review - Put simply, Call of Duty: Warzone is awesome. Between the gulag respawn feature and its seamless gameplay, Warzone is definitely worth playing, especially since it’s completely free-to-play. While the map locations leave a bit to be desired, it really doesn’t sully the overall package too much. With cross-play and cross-progression multiplayer fully integrated, there’s no reason to not play Warzone, regardless of whether or not you own the full version of Modern Warfare.
