Critic Reviews

  • Bullet Hell Monday is a punishing shoot 'em up bullet hell game that differentiates itself from the pack through its focus on not simply surviving each level, but completing enough of the level's missions so that we can continue to the next level.

  • It demonstrates the same careful design sense as the .Decluster games, but with just enough of its own style to make it feel fresh. It's more than worth checking out, especially with how generous it is to free players.

  • And yet Bullet Hell Monday never feels impossible, thanks to the short stage length and easy-to-track light on your ship. Of course, that's all on Normal difficulty. Hard and Heaven modes are true tests of your bullet hell prowess. Regardless of what difficulty you choose, Bullet Hell Monday offers vibrant and satisfying shump gameplay. A relentless shooter with a colorful aesthetic and screen-filling shmup action.

About the game

Why don't we play a bullet hell shooter? I made it for you who think bullet hell shooters are hard.

"Bullet Hell Monday" is a bullet hell shooter game that’s fun for beginners too. Let's start with a simple stage and gradually get used to bullet hell.

  • Recommended Chapter Mode for bullet hell beginners.
  • Recommended Challenge Mode for bullet hell experts.

Chapter

Chapter mode is a mode in which you proceed while clearing the missions set for each stage. Each stage is short, and you will be able to advance to the next stage by accomplishing some missions. At first, your craft is weak, but you can level up by using the points you can get for each play.

  • Best suited to the introduction of bullet hell.
  • Starts from a simple stage, so you can gradually improve your skill.
  • Clear the missions set for each stage.
  • Clearing missions opens up new stages.
  • Use the points you earn to upgrade your craft.

Challenge

Challenge mode is an arcade-style full-scale bullet hell shooter. There are no missions or level-up system like in Chapter mode. After you get used to bullet hell in Chapter mode, try this mode.

  • Experience full-scale arcade-style bullet hell shooter.
  • Select from EASY, NORMAL, HARD, and HEAVEN difficulties.

Endless

A mode to play with 1 life. The longer you survive, the more difficult it becomes.

  • Endless mode that does not end until your craft is destroyed.
  • How long can you survive in the intensifying bullet hell?

Other Features

  • 2D Vertical Scrolling, Weapon Selection, Multiple Lives, Bomb, Auto-Bomb, Extend
  • Supports operation with "mouse + keyboard", "keyboard", and "controller".
  • Leaderboards for each stage and each difficulty (*Challenge and endless mode only)
  • Recording replays (*Challenge mode only)
  • Supports vertical / TATE screen. (*Some menus are simplified.)
