Breakthrough

Breakthrough is a stylized visual novel game that teaches you foreign languages through engaging cultural stories. You have opportunities to engage conversations (in form of vocabulary games) with NPCs from various cultural backgrounds to build rapport with them, and to complete their stories. As you play, you’ll be able to complete quests to earn currency, which can be used to purchase new flashcards / unlock stories. Each story contains multiple chapters to experience. There’s also a deck-building mode, where you’ll be able to build your own deck of flashcards with words you wish to learn.
