  Still, despite the linear story and no major challenge, Braveland is a fun game during the first run-through. While the want for more variety with how the game plays is there, the game remains enjoyable throughout, and can result in you getting lost in time no matter your experience with turn-based strategy titles.

  Regarding gameplay, both the regular and boss battles give a nice challenge. Three different difficulty levels assure that both newcomers to the tactical genre and hardcore strategists make the most of this game. Therefore, a well balanced, well thought-out, well-designed game, born to be played on mobile devices and enjoyed by all audiences. Highly recommended.

  Distinctly casual in nature, Braveland is still plenty of fun. It could have been made even better by a bit more variety and open-endedness but I still enjoyed my time with it. It fits into the mobile gaming motif well, making it easy to achieve something in a short space of time while remaining steadily pleasant.

  The progression is well weighted and the balancing is perfectly adequate, sure, but you never really feel like you've achieved anything when you chalk up a victory. Braveland does a lot of things perfectly adequately, and it's sometimes pretty fun, but that's not really enough to make it stand out
