- The game had vivid imagery, and made use of colors quite well. Real cash was definitely not needed, and I felt that the numerous game modes greatly added to the replayability. All in all, Bloons TD 5 continues a great gaming tradition, and is worth a look.
Tre Lawrence · Jan 25, 2016 Reviewed on And - It only loses points for being such a time-suck, but other than that, it's a game that deserves to be played. And I guess I should have thought of some kind of pun related to the game to wrap up this review, but I'm too busy monkeying around with it on my iPhone.
John Llewellyn Martin · Jan 19, 2016 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - Bloons TD 5 features simple yet well-designed cartoony graphics. Both kids and adult will enjoy characters and environments artwork. Highly recommended.
Manu Galvez · Aug 28, 2014 Reviewed on - The result, unfortunately, is a game that seems like it’s trying to wheedle even more cash out of you despite its base price tag. It’s still fun, and one of the better examples of tower defense on the market, but it’s hard to escape the impression that Bloons TD 4 wasn’t so piratical in its drive to urge you to spend premium currency.
Leif Johnson · Nov 23, 2012 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - Those willing to dive in to a tower defense game that’s ready and willing to be deep should check it out as well. This is one of the best $2.99 (plus in-app purchases for currency) values on the App Store.
Carter Dotson · Nov 21, 2012 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - It's light-hearted but captivating, and there a difficulty setting for everyone, whether you're the committed tower-defense nut, the kind of person who likes to think they're better at these games than they really are, or the younger game who'll get a few hours of entertainment from assaulting the balloons with ease. As any parent will tell you, that's $1.99 well spent.
John Bedford · Nov 20, 2012 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - Bloons TD 5 is possibly the pinnacle of what tower defence games can offer, with tonnes of content, deep gameplay and more ways to play than you’ll ever get through, there’s something here for anyone even remotely interested in the tower defence genre.
