  Bit City features delightful city building simulation with a solid mix of incremental gameplay that doesn’t feel complicated, making it easy to anyone to pick-up the game and get started right away, plus the game feels strangely addicting. Yet, you’ll soon find, despite Bit City’s addictive and challenging gameplay, that it’ll quickly be bogged down by its incremental gameplay elements, making progression feel too much like a grind.

  Bit City is a solid, and highly addictive game that is as close to as perfect a blend of clicker and city builder as you’re likely to find anywhere. It might not make a lot of game of the year lists, but it’s one that’s unlikely to be forgotten quickly.

  There was a time on the App Store where a game like Bit City could be a hit if you made it charming enough. But in 2017, it feels really uninspired. If you are still in the market for a clicker, Bit City is a pretty charming one, but it doesn't really offer anything new to the genre.

  Even within the idle genre, Bit City does little to innovate. You'll probably run out of steam quickly playing this one, unless you enjoy the endless quest for cash or the adorable voxel artwork. Bit City has that characteristic Nimblebit charm and polish, but there's very little happening beneath the surface.
