Critic Reviews
- Enemies also come in different shapes and types, and there are also boss battles. Bardbarian also features endless and survival modes, for those hardcore players, as the developers really seemed to think of everything when they obviously wanted to create a game which is simple to play but has a high skill cap.
Alec Sandar · Jul 27, 2018 Reviewed onRead full review - Regardless, given the excellent graphics, the hybrid gameplay, the complete upgrading system and, the storyfied campaign mode, I can only say: go download it. You won't ever regret.
Emmanuel Lund · Aug 20, 2014 Reviewed on iOS, And - Bardbarian is an awesome game with plenty of polish and challenge that will have you adsorbed for quite some time. It’s free to play but has the kind of smug “hand out” monetization strategy of a hotel doorman but bearable.
Antonio Wells · Mar 20, 2014 Reviewed on And - In every way imaginable, Bardbarian steps up as the perfect mobile experience, and it has everything you could ever want in a video game, for that matter: a fun-loving presentation, a seamless blend of different gameplay types, and an addictive balance of challenge and progression that will always keep you coming back for more.
Joe Jasko · Jan 31, 2014 Reviewed onRead full review - Bardbarian is a fun game that mostly delivers what it attempts to offer. It is very repetitive, but the consolation is that you can keep any gold you’ve collected before your team is killed/fails at protecting the Town Crystal, which you can save and use to better your team, Brad or the town
Chris Kiernan · Jan 28, 2014 Reviewed on iOS - When a game like this has so many options for upgrades and customization, a rocking soundtrack, fun character designs and addictive gameplay, the difficulty just makes it so that victory is that much more rewarding. That’s something we can happily bang our heads to
John Llewellyn Martin · Jan 22, 2014 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - Shooter fans are going to appreciate the fast action with a layer of strategy, while fans of defense games will surely enjoy the variety of units and strategies delivered in a fast-paced package. Barbarian is a game that just feels right in a lot of ways, and with a low price on top of that, you really need to pick it up, post haste.
Shaun Musgrave · Jan 20, 2014 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - Together it forms a fun and varied way of playing. Simple to lose oneself to with plenty of reason to keep playing, in the form of new upgrades, Bardbarian is an entertaining mix of familiar types bringing new life to some old ideas.
Jennifer Allen · Jan 16, 2014 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - Bardbarian has a great genre-bending idea and amusing aesthetic but suffers in the execution.
Dick Page · Jun 18, 2018 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - It's precise and polished, and layered with enough interesting gameplay tweaks and army-building strategy to keep you occupied for a good long while. An intriguing mix of genres that gel together brilliantly, Bardbarian is a breath of fresh air.

About the game
Trailers & Screenshots:
You play as Brad the barbarian, who is awoken to the sounds of his town under siege. Today is different though; Brad has grown tired of fighting all the time. The usual grind for XP has grown dull, and he has decided to pursue his dreams of making music instead of shedding blood.
Developer: TreeFortress Games
