  It is a shame, because at its core, Band Stars isn’t a bad game. It’s accessible, easy to play and has a good overall presentation. But it doesn’t have an overall goal to complete or to maintain the focus of the player, because it doesn’t offer much depth to the player. Therefore, Band Stars is one heck of a shallow time management game.

  Although you may or may not like the design, and you might well get easily bored by the long tutorial, we can recommend this game for younger audiences interested in management games but not brainy, more serious, ones.

  That one issue aside, Band Stars is a fun game. It’s free to download and the microtransactions are in no way required to get 100% enjoyment. It’s worth picking up, but be warned, your mileage may vary.

  Applying a free-to-play model to the management game genre results in an experience that offers up diminishing returns on gameplay the more time that has been invested. Sadly, it looks like Band Stars falls victim to the same shortcoming. That said, there are still glimmers of greatness that make it worth dropping the beat a few times and giving the free download a spin.

  With its multitude of tasks and upgrades, Band Stars should keep you busy and interested for at least a couple of hours. Your continued love for this app may also hinge on your passion for farming games. Do you love building things from scratch? Are you that good soldier who enjoys meeting challenge after challenge? I’ve had more than enough fun during my time with the band, and even though we still haven’t cracked the top 10, there’s still a lot more music to play.

  While Band Stars has an interesting concept and some fun characters, its glitches, lack of entertainment, and sheer lack of music make it less than enjoyable. Think carefully before taking this band on the road.

  But it's not a whole lot different an experience from Megapolis, and it's a shame that these musical elements aren't played up and used to greater effect. Band Stars, then: a good game featuring super-slick presentation, but also one with gameplay you've probably seen elsewhere.

  Overall, Bermain Band Stars sedikit banyak memberikan saya hiburan tersendiri dalam mengamati proses perjuangan sebuah lagu agar menembus tangga lagu hit internasional. Bila kalian gemar memainkan game simulasi manajemen yang menarik untuk dicoba, saya merekomendasikan Band Stars ini sebagai hiburan kecil di saku kalian.
