- In Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End and The Secret Key, there’s plenty of systems to min/max to your heart’s content, and fans will enjoy getting to hang out with the cast one final time. While I wish things were perhaps a bit more compact, most will enjoy the expansive world and plethora of experiences to have, even if the text is more than a little hard to read. This finale to Ryza’s summer adventures is nonetheless a worthwhile journey for fans to embark on.
Paige Chamberlain · May 02, 2023 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Despite the permanence of typical Atelier quirks, Atelier Ryza 3 is a wonderful conclusion to the trilogy featuring some of the best the series has to offer. While this marks the end of Ryza’s journey as the heroine, her influence to this unique and charming franchise will be felt long after the credits have rolled.
Jae Lee · Apr 25, 2023 Reviewed on PCRead full review - The Atelier series isn't for everyone, but this is the ultimate entry for those this series is geared toward. Many of the disappointments of Atelier Ryza 2 were fixed in this sequel, particularly in the characterization department. There could be no better sendoff for Ryza and friends.
Ashley Shankle · Apr 22, 2023 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End and the Secret Key is a satisfying end to the "Secret" trilogy. Gust truly went all-out for Ryza's final adventure and I think it was well worth the effort. The open-zone gameplay and story elements truly felt like Gust reaching a new level on what they could do with their games.
Nathan Lee · Apr 18, 2023 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key is a great continuation of Ryza’s adventures and it may as well be one of the best entries in the Atelier series as a whole. We loved exploring the colorful world with Ryza and her companions, while also spending huge chunks of time in our hideout to craft to our hearts’ content.
Ibuki · Apr 17, 2023 Reviewed on PS4, SwitchRead full review - All in all, though not without its flaws, Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key succeeded in being my favorite entry in the series despite being the last.
Abdul Saad · Apr 01, 2023 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End and the Secret Key doesn't completely rewrite the series' rules, so much as expand and improve on them. It's still a relaxing traipse with Ryza and friends but evokes a sense of nostalgia and hopes for the future.
Ravi Sinha · Mar 29, 2023 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist Of The End & The Secret Key closes out the final chapter of Ryza’s trilogy with a powerful send-off. The addictive gameplay loop and fine-tuned crafting system will keep you entertained for dozens of hours. It expands upon what worked well in the first two entries while setting the standard for future Atelier games to come.
Dual Shockers · Mar 27, 2023 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key adjusts the JRPG series’ gameplay formula in numerous ways—some subtle and some dramatic. Not all of the changes work, but the end result is still a very fun and satisfying conclusion to Ryza’s summer adventures.
Kirk Hiner · Mar 25, 2023 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key is the biggest Atelier game to date. Ryza and her friends are just as charming as ever and this is a fantastic way to end the trilogy. The vibrant open-world areas are a joy to explore, and the slick combat and engaging alchemy system will keep you entertained throughout.
