  • This is a game that deals in purity – even when it’s holding your hand, its grip is loose and careless. You’re on your own, just you and the track. It might not be the best looking game, or the most exciting, but if you’re looking for a racing experience that does its best to capture what pushing a car to its absolute limit is really like, Assetto Corsa Mobile is your best option.

  • Assetto Corsa does a lot right, and a lot wrong. It does; however, get the gameplay right which is far and away the most important aspect in racers, even if it fails to deliver a compelling career mode. In its Special Events mode the game shows off its best side while the career mode is average at best. Not to mention the antiquated look cannot be ignored. That being said, Assetto Corsa has a unique tone and feel that differentiates it enough from the competition.

  • I’m not sure what to think of Assetto Corsa. I know the PC version has a great reputation amongst racing enthusiasts, but this console port seems completely needless. There isn’t multi-monitor support, the online is dead, the track and car selection is limited and the career mode is worthless. I won’t say the game is without merit and Kunos Simulazioni has promised to add some missing features in future updates, but I’m not one to buy into a game on expectations.

  • Assetto Corsa may succeed as a simulation, but it fails as a game. Clearly a ton of work has gone into making sure the cars handle correctly and that the tracks are as realistic as possible, which just makes the end result even more heartrending. It has a terrible user interface, isn’t fun to play and doesn’t feature any of the helpful tools that make Forza such an appealing game.

  • Assetto Corsa is a great-looking, excellent-sounding, meticulously crafted simulation that offers a very realistic racing experience. Its authenticity does come at a cost, however - it's very difficult to drive well, and requires a considerable investment of your time to get the most out of it. However, if you're a hardcore racing enthusiast who loves a challenge, Assetto Corsa is one of the best driving sims available.

  • To say that Assetto Corsa is a disappointment is a bit of an understatement. The recent DiRT Rally by Codemasters proved that a sim could still be a good game – challenging and authentic, yet fun, with a career that feels engrossing and rewarding – but Assetto Corsa just feels dull and pointless in comparison, and that’s before you consider the numerous technical issues.

  • Kunos Studios has already pushed out several incremental upgrades since the Dream Pack DLC was released and we all wait for more concrete evidence that some of the fundamental deficiencies of the racing simulation aspects of the game will be addressed. Despite some thorns in the AC racing rose bouquet, Kunos has created an auto game that is definitely worth taking for a spin.

  • In conclusion, ignoring the stat glitches, lack of private lobbies and the somewhat questionable way the game is packaged, what's underneath the hood is seriously impressive. Any dedicated racing nuts who feel like testing themselves at the wheel on console should look no further.

  • While the car handling and actual driving is excellent, Kunos Simulazioni don’t successfully turn this into an enjoyable game, stuffing it with single player events and a career that are both frustrating rather than fun. At its best, Assetto Corsa is quite simply a sublime driving sim. I just wish I could say that without caveats.

  • Assetto Corsa is a frustrating drive with a punishing learning curve that never truly pays you back for your time investment. It fails to provide an effective way to learn its complicated intricacies and lacks features that a game of its ilk requires. It's also simultaneously the best and worst presented racing game of the past few years, with superbly detailed cars and tracks hampered by awful long-distance scenery and ugly roadside textures.
