- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla‘s inherent flaws also show their face to hamper your experience with Wrath of the Druids from time to time. The awkward controls will sometimes get in your way during combat or when trying to parkour, while glitches such as finishing animations playing out when enemies are already dead on the floor break your immersion. Anyone that has put considerable hours into the game will already be aware that it often lacks a bit of polish, however.
Richard Seagrave · May 20, 2021 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - I’m sure hardcore Valhalla fans hungry for a new adventure won’t necessarily be upset to hear that Wrath of the Druids delivers more of the same. Certainly, if you loved the main game you’ll appreciate more content to sink your teeth into. For everyone else, play the free seasonal events until there’s a discount.
Alex Gibson · May 17, 2021 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - Ultimately, how much mileage you get out of Wrath of the Druids will depend on how you’re feeling about Assassin’s Creed Valhalla right now. This is, by design, an extension of the base game, and truth to be told, it’s not exactly essential- so if you’re looking for more of the same, this should be more than enough to keep you happy until the next big content drop comes.
Shubhankar Parijat · May 15, 2021 Reviewed on Series X|SRead full review - Wrath of the Druids is a substantial, mechanically strong and visually impressive expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and anyone who appreciated the main game will absolutely enjoy Eivor’s journey to the Emerald Isle. Wrath of the Druids does not make any fundamental changes to Valhalla’s game play but it’s easy to become invested in the new story, interesting characters and beautiful environments, and can be enjoyed by a player at any level.
Mark Steighner · May 13, 2021 Reviewed on Series X|SRead full review - If Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was as vast and interesting as many seasons of Game of Thrones, think of Wrath of the Druids as the forthcoming House of the Dragon spinoff. It’s not going to change anyone’s minds, but if you were still on board, it’s exciting to return to that world.
Mark Delaney · May 12, 2021 Reviewed on Series X|SRead full review - A strong Irish story and a few interesting battles amid a sea of run-of-the-mill recycled quests make Wrath of the Druids worth a return trip to Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
Jarrett Green · May 12, 2021 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - Even if you thought you were "done" with Assassin's Creed Valhalla already, Wrath of the Druids has more than enough elements to drag you back in. It may not break a lot of new ground, but raiding monasteries, making terrible decisions, double-crossing friend and foe, and partaking in more drinking contests is good fun and a well-made complement to an already great game.
Jordan Baranowski · May 12, 2021 Reviewed on PCRead full review - The new mechanics don't fundamentally change how the game plays, so those who didn't like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to begin with will not change their mind with the expansion. Everyone else, however, will love every second of their time in Ireland as they did with their time in Norway and England.
Francesco De Meo · May 12, 2021 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Overall, Wrath of the Druids is not a bad addition to Assassin's Creed Valhalla. It's even a good one for those who want any reason to step in Eivor's shoes again. But for those who have turned their attention elsewhere, it doesn't do much to bring them back.
Joshua Duckworth · May 12, 2021 Reviewed onRead full review - Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids gives you a lot of reasons to continue Eivor's journey thanks to a lush and vibrant land to explore. Fighting the druidic cult is also a treat owing to their usage of wild animals, poisons, and flames.

About the game
Trailers & Screenshots:
A new land means new monasteries to raid, alliances to forge, enemies to fight, and skills to learn. New abilities let Eivor fire off smoke-bomb arrows to make a quick getaway or open up opportunities in combat, or summon Irish hounds to attack enemies. Of course, Eivor is more deadly than ever thanks to the addition of sickles as a new melee weapon type. In between battling mythical creatures and helping unite Ireland, Eivor will set up trading posts around the land to earn valuable rewards, help foster alliances, and build up Dublin’s commercial reach.
