  t's hard to get around the vehicle mechanics, though, even if the core elements of the game are robust. With its flaws, it's still a game that can fill up time for any racing fan, but it may not be up to the standards of elite racing fans. Since it's one of the cheapest Vita games available, it can definitely fill time until something more authentic comes around.

  Asphalt Injection is a solid, if unimpressive, racer that provides swift, hassle-free portable action. However, I can't recommend it as a full-priced retail product, because it absolutely doesn't feel like one. With a simplistic no-frills approach to racing, and graphics that could easily be rendered on a PSP, Injection barely feels like a step above its iOS and Android prequels, so it feels like yet another attempted swindle from Gameloft and Ubisoft.

  Asphalt: Injection, in spite of its flaws, is a fun arcade style racer. The price is $10 lower than most launch PS Vita titles, which is what it should be. While it does seem that Gameloft might have rushed the title a little to hit the PS Vita launch, it’s still a well designed game with plenty of content to keep you busy for quite a while.

  If you have played any Asphalt racing game before, then you know what you are getting into here, but if you are new to the franchise or are just a racing game fan in general who is picking up Sony’s new handheld, then a quick look at this PS Vita racing game isn’t such a bad thing, just keep your expectations realistic.

  Asphalt Injection is a fun racing game, but it lacks depth, precision, and doesn’t push the Playstation Vita to anything resembling its true potential. Asphalt 6 costs 99 cents in the App Store while Asphalt Injection sports a price tag of $29.99. At its current tier, that’s a steep price for a simplistic racing game that only benefits from tighter controls and more processing power without really washing off the sense it’s a really polished iPhone game.

  The career mode alone lasted me more than 10 hours. Considering the amount of potential playtime you get for the price, value is the game’s strongest component. Of course, value takes into account how much fun you'll have as well, and in that respect there's simply too much frustration and too many sloppy design decisions to contend with for much joy to permeate through the cracks. In the end Asphalt: Injection does nothing to elevate the status of this persistent racing series above the level of mediocrity it has long resided in.

  Schlichte Menüs, eine holprige Fahrphysik, der rudimentäre Online-Modus - das alles erinnert eher an die iOS-Wurzeln als an einen Konsolen-Raser. Statt eigener Ideen bietet das Spiel einen Mix altbekannter Zutaten: Unkomplizierte Arcade-Rennen, einfach gehaltenes Tuning und jede Menge Renn-Modi. Wenn man sich mit der lieblosen Aufmachung abgefunden hat, offenbaren sich aber auch Stärken.

  Asphalt Injection est un portage bête et méchant d'Asphalt Adrenaline 6. Pourtant, les supports n'ont pas grand-chose à voir et ce qui a fonctionné sur smartphones ne fonctionne plus sur PS Vita. Doté d'une réalisation indigne de la machine et dénué de toute nouveauté de gameplay ou de contenu, ce titre déçoit à tous les étages. Vendu 30€ (contre 0,79€ sur iPhone), il est tout simplement à éviter.

  Insomma, in definitiva Asphalt Injection si dimostra un titolo fondamentalmente mediocre, incapace di rappresentare un reale punto di riferimento neanche per gli amanti della categoria arcade. La scarsa originalità e sostanziale banalità del concept di base, arginate solo in parte dalla durata della campagna e dalle diverse tipologie di gara proposte, sono infatti innegabili, e di conseguenza non posso che sconsigliare l'acquisto a chiunque non nutra una passione viscerale per le simulazioni automobilistiche.
