- Apex Legends Mobile has all the same perks and problems as its predecessor; however, this does n0t detract from the fun of the battle royale gameplay and should not make players shy away from giving the game a try.
Barbara Walker · Nov 04, 2022 Reviewed on AndRead full review - Of all the battle royale games available on mobile this ranks amongst the most polished, the most well-balanced and the most entertaining. It’s a big, complex, AAA experience that’s going to leave you with a massive grin on your face. Apex Legends Mobile is well worth checking out.
Harry Slater · May 29, 2022 Reviewed on iOS, AndRead full review - Apex Legends Mobile is the most fun I have had with a battle royale game, on mobile or otherwise. It makes all of the nitty gritty aspects of playing such a multi-faceted experience easy without stripping out depth, and offers such a multitude of options to get yourself feeling like a precision player even if the overall experience isn't as sharp and honed as PC and console battle royales.
Campbell Bird · May 26, 2022 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - Apex Legends Mobile is an excellent mobile iteration of Apex Legends. In the list of console/pc to mobile adaptations of games, it’s easily one of my favorites as it keeps all of the core gameplay and other aspects intact while also adding some new features to the game that will keep it from getting too stale or being overlooked. Compared to when other shooters, like Fortnite, made the jump to mobile, which I struggled with heavily as building felt nearly impossible, Apex Legends Mobile has been really easy to jump into and quickly became addicting.
Cassie Peterson · May 26, 2022 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - I’m fine not spending money on games, or keeping my spending limited to what I can afford. But for those that aren’t, the fomo on the countless cosmetics might prove too much. Aside from the monetisation, Apex Legends Mobile is a great distillation of the full game, with clever adaptations and quality of life updates to Legend abilities and game modes that make the battle royale shine on the smallest screen.
Ben Sledge · May 16, 2022 Reviewed on AndRead full review - There are definitely issues that need to be ironed out in terms of the battle royale gameplay quality, but whether you’re in it for the new TDM mode, exclusive Legend, third-person option, or even just some new cosmetics, there’s bound to be something here that gets players excited — or interested, at the very least.
Ethan Anderson · May 16, 2022 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - Apex Legends feels great to play, the characters are diverse, the lore and story are amazing. The maps Olympus and Worlds Edge are great and provide players with amazing encounters. However, Apex suffers from technical issues and a lack of cross-progression.
Mike O'Neill · May 23, 2021 Reviewed on PCRead full review - I have no doubt that this port is the best that Apex Legends could be on Nintendo Switch, with Panic Button once again working their magic to optimise the full-featured gameplay experience as well as they could given the scrappy console’s limitations. The port is as undeniably remarkable as it is divisive from a technical standpoint and its competitive heart remains, but the resulting outcome from that concerted effort is an option best left to those who are unable to leap into the action to become a Champion elsewhere.
Alex Seedhouse · Apr 05, 2021 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Ultimately, with a few serious patches to Apex Legends, it seems the Switch version won't necessarily be a bad way to play the game. If it can at least get the technical aspects to a more operating level, it becomes an alternative option at least.
Joshua Duckworth · Mar 16, 2021 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Golf Story's clever writing and sound golf fundamentals keep it entertaining, even through some stale moments. Despite its light-hearted RPG structure, there’s a challenging and very real golf game here that’s worth coming back to even after the story is over. But it left me wishing that more of the campaign focused on the golf itself, and less on the often repetitive side tasks.
