Critic Reviews
- HIGH The devs nail the music and sound effects. LOW I thought we collectively decided Prometheus and Covenant never happened?
Jason Ricardo · Nov 06, 2026 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - An upgraded arsenal and variety of targets make Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 a more engaging shooting gallery than its predecessor, but the weaponry still feels like you've been sent out to deal with an alien queen with Nerf guns and a dream.
Kai Tatsumoto · Oct 08, 2026 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - What's the matter? The food ain't that bad.
Jordan Hawes · Oct 06, 2026 Reviewed on PCRead full review - How long after we're declared overdue can we expect a rescue?
· Sep 29, 2026 Reviewed on PC, PS5, Series X|SRead full review - PC PS5, Xbox Series X/S Daybreak Game Company Cold Iron Studios Third-Person Shooter I was pleasantly surprised to see the announcement that Aliens: Fireteam Elite was getting a sequel.
Dominic Sheard · Sep 23, 2026 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is, by every measurable metric, a bigger and more comprehensive version of the first game. And yet, it is found wanting on multiple levels.
Erickson Melchor · Sep 18, 2026 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 only provides small improvements over its predecessor as it is plagued by bugs more than Xenomorphs.
Uzair Syed · Sep 16, 2026 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - AVERAGE What starts as dumb fun quickly devolves into a dull slog through an uninteresting story. Even if Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 had more polish, it's still a very underwhelming sequel.
Ravi Sinha · Sep 10, 2026 Reviewed on PCRead full review - A review of Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 and why it doesn't match up to the original.
Shane Limbaugh · Sep 10, 2026 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - Check out our review of Coldiron and Daybreak Games Company's Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 on the PS5 right here. Does this sequel improve upon its predecessor?
