- Overall, Air Mission: HIND is a fun game, it’s easy to get stuck into and content is equal parts reaction in a fight, and planning your build and mission tactics. However, there seems to have been very little development in the game over the past 4 years since its original release. Complaints about faulty AI, low graphics quality and low content volume were all made in old reviews. And since it was brought to Switch, it seems to be a carbon copy of the original, which only adds further problems with controls, without resolving the ones that were still there.
Jayderlee · Oct 25, 2020 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - I expected something much worse. Air Missions: HIND is riddled with issues and a very complicated control scheme, but I won’t deny, it’s an alright game. If you can get past its borderline scary gameplay, you can have quite a bit of fun with what’s essentially a stopgap until Ace Combat 7 gets released early next year. If you’re part of the very small and specific demographic of Russian helicopter enthusiasts, you’re in for the game of your dreams as well. All half a dozen of you.
Leo Faria · Nov 06, 2018 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - The real kicker here is that Air Missions: HIND features some incredibly detailed helicopter models – almost full simulation quality – and initially looks like it has bags of potential. Sadly, it doesn’t even come close to realizing it. Some will get an hour of two of enjoyment out of the game before they realise that they’re on a hiding to nothing.
Kenneth A. Barnes · Jul 05, 2017 Reviewed on XB1Read full review - If we had any gripes with the game it has to be with the steep learning curve. It took us six missions before we were really comfortable with the controls and confident enough to take off, engage targets, land, pick up men and take off again without worrying about splashing into the terrain. But this minor niggle aside, Air Missions: HIND is a fun, challenging and hugely rewarding flight combat sim. The game looks amazing, it’s tough but fair and, if you ever wondered whether you had the minerals to become a combat chopper pilot, this is your chance. Go buy and fly.
