    Overall, 7'scarlet is an interesting mix between the otome, mystery, and supernatural genres. I may not have been as big a fan of some character routes as I was of others, but I appreciated how they all come together to try and tell a much larger story. Okunezato might just be worth visiting a few times if you happen to own a Vita or gaming PC; at least temporarily. Fans of visual novels and mysteries might find 7'scarlet worth a look, but it isn't going to appeal to every player out there.

    It’s really hard to get into anything else about 7’sCarlet without getting into spoiler territory. I will say that while it has a couple of predictable elements, every other revelation blew me away. I may not have liked how it all ended, but I enjoyed nearly every step of the journey to get there. Really, that’s all one can really ask from a visual novel, especially otome.

    The only thing I can think of is whether you enjoy visual novels or not, if you don’t this game may bore you as a player for its lack of gameplay depth. If you do, then 7’scarlet is an engaging and well-written mystery visual novel with actually thought out romance elements.The sound and visual design are both of incredible quality, the story is a joy to slowly unravel, and the characters are multi-layered and charming. A few personal gripes aside, 7’scarlet is most definitely worth every moment spent playing it.
