- 10 Second Ninja X is a great pick up and play game. It would also be a fun game to aim to master, similar to Super Meat Boy. With it launching on Switch, when is a better time to check this out than out, on the go, while you’re waiting for your coffee, or stuck on a bus? The pacing of the game works well for quick play sessions.
Aaron Price · Aug 08, 2021 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - 10 Second Ninja is certainly well designed from a gameplay standpoint, but misses out on being great through the shear difficulty of it. But if you enjoy a real tough challenge, and if your reflexes are sharper than mine, then it might be worth a shot.
John Whitehouse · Aug 12, 2016 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - 10 Second Ninja X is an addictive high speed platform game sporting some puzzle game elements which enrich the experience considerably. With its fast paced experience, smooth controls, good amount of content and replay value, 10 Second Ninja X is a game that no fan of platform games should pass on. The easy to learn, harder to master type of experience also makes it perfect for those who never considered playing a similar game. Highly recommended to all those looking for a fun and not excessively involving experience.
Francesco De Meo · Aug 08, 2016 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - Whether you want to play the game for the thrill of a challenge or you just need to kill some time, 10 Second Ninja X is a great game to pick up to do just that. It is a highly repetitive game, while the stages do eventually change to become more difficult, the core gameplay never really evolves into anything too meaningful. The art direction and sound effects work well and the gameplay is tough and challenging yet extremely rewarding.
Thi Chao · Jul 31, 2016 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - 10 Second Ninja X is glorious, fast-paced fun. It's frenetic action might make it ill-suited to long sessions but for pickup and play goodness it's hard to beat. It also really comes into it's own when playing with a mate, letting each other take turns in an effort to take down particularly brutal level. Of which there are a 100 by the way, so there's plenty here to sink your teeth into despite theoretically being beatable in under 17 minutes.
Joffy S · Jul 31, 2016 Reviewed on PCRead full review - 10 Second Ninja was already a very fun and enjoyable game in its initial release on PC, but now coming out as the more content heavy 10 Second Ninja X, console owners get to join in on the action. Though the variety in the level design as you advance in the game leaves a little to be desired, the rapid pace of the levels are very well suited for a quickplay experience that can serve as a very enjoyable palette cleanser between other games.
Dean James · Jul 30, 2016 Reviewed on XB1Read full review - Most of the time, 10 Second Ninja X is a competent and charming puzzle platformer with more wit and humor than one might expect. If it wasn't for the painfully aggravating 3 star challenges, this game would be a great time across the board.
crispyn64 · Jul 28, 2016 Reviewed on VitaRead full review - Four Circle Interactive’s 10 Second Ninja X offers plenty of intensely difficult challenges for players willing to bash their head against it. Its simple premise brings with it a remarkably emotional story, but the core gameplay is the true attraction, requiring players to continually restart for the sake of completion and competition.
Sam Spyrison · Jul 27, 2016 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - If I was to be picky I’d maybe say that perhaps the controls aren’t quite as tight as they could be, but otherwise it’s really hard to find a genuine fault with 10 Second Ninja X. The visuals are clean and colourful, the music is rather nice, and there’s an abundance of quality content that will keep you hooked for a considerable amount of time, particularly if you like chasing places on leaderboards.
Rich · Jul 22, 2016 Reviewed on XB1Read full review - And although 10 Second Ninja X may have some issues with its difficulty ramp, overall it’s a beautiful little game that takes the best aspects of other speed-based platformers and, despite the name, can easily take up hours of your time. The game itself isn’t long, but going back to levels and beating your high score adds hours upon hours of replayability.

10 SECOND NINJA X is a blisteringly fast, satisfyingly difficult and surprisingly methodical sidescroller which tasks you with completing each level in ten seconds or less. No lengthy checkpoint gaps. No cluttered control scheme. No hand holding. Get that three star rating, yo! You got this.
