- My Time at Portia is a massive farming and town-life simulation RPG where we build an incredible workshop, start a family, go spelunking in mysterious caves, and so much more.
CaptainQQ · Sep 15, 2022 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - My Time at Portia is worth your time and money. It is also priced very reasonably compared to the console versions.
Mikhail Madnani · Aug 05, 2021 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - I really had a wonderful time playing My Time At Portia again. Even on the PS4, it is still, basically, the same relaxing, time sink of a game that I fell in love with on the PC. I do hope they patch the PS4 version to fix the graphical issues and possibly even put the voice back in. As much as I have stressed these as issues, it by no means made this version a chore to play. I am just spoiled because I played it on PC first. I do intend to play both iterations of this title through to completion.
Susie Chapman · May 22, 2019 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - Its production values are beyond dated, and its gameplay brings absolutely nothing new to the table. It does excel at being a construction-focused slice of life game, but it fails elsewhere. My Time at Portia will most certainly please fans waiting for the next proper Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing titles, but don’t think this will be the next Stardew Valley.
Leo Faria · Apr 25, 2019 Reviewed on XB1Read full review - My Life is Portia is a beautiful, relaxing experience. With a charming art style and interesting little story, players will easily lose themselves in the pleasant setting for hours and hours and hours
Rosh Kelly · Apr 24, 2019 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Despite that some aspects of the game are either overwhelming, or, not wholly refined, My Time at Portia is a solid addition to the life simulation genre. There’s heaps of gameplay depth to soak up and enjoy, with no shortage of variation present to keep things fresh and entertaining. Whilst it pales in comparison to the likes of Animal Crossing, it certainly offers plenty of distinction and gets enough right to stand in a spotlight entirely of its own.
Cassie Gibbons · Apr 19, 2019 Reviewed on XB1Read full review - If you’re looking for a title that relieves tension instead of building it, My Time at Portia is as soothing as gaming gets. The craft-heavy life sim offers new spins on mainstays like farming, mining, and even fishing. It’s the closest gaming equivalent to a warm cup of cocoa: soothing and satisfying. If Harvest Moon and Breath of the Wild had a baby, I’m positive their beautiful brood would feel like My Time at Portia.
Jaime Carrillo · Apr 16, 2019 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - I’ve no shame in admitting I haven’t ‘finished’ Portia. I’m not even sure one can ever feel finished, when it comes to games like this one. No matter what story achievements you complete, no matter what you build, there will ever be some new project or goal lingering on the farthest shores. This is the ultimate judgment, the only one you need concern yourself with.
James Paley · Apr 16, 2019 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - While My Time At Portia does stretch a bit too far into the realm of realism, it also offers an accessible entry point into this style of gaming. It’s constantly surprising how much fun it is to sit down, turn on a podcast, and farm for hours. It’s got a quirky charm and some engrossing gameplay loops that will likely hook newcomers and possibly some genre veterans too. Everything feeds back into progression, meaning that you have encouragement to reach out and meet the local bakers and candlestick makers beyond their cool phrases.
Alex Santa Maria · Apr 16, 2019 Reviewed on XB1Read full review - My Time at Portia is the best wholesome life simulator you can play at the moment on Switch, hands-down
