I first played this game on the 3DS. I played as Frey and married Vishnal. On the Switch, I played as Lest and married Margaret. The characters are all so charming. The town feels alive with random chatting between villagers. The town is a perfect size and good. Everything about this game is great. I didn't play to play this game on the Switch but I did to get the save file for Margaret and Doug to be in the town in Rune Factory 5. The Switch is an improvement to the 3DS imo. Much more smoother and characters look more bigger which is better. I played until New Game+ on the Switch. I have played 160+ in this game and plan to play more to marry Vishnal, Dylas and Arthur in a year or two after a break from the game. I will definitely at least reach 200+ hours. Please play this game.

Phenominal

Everything about this game is magical. The story, the gameplay which is a perfect balance of the leisure farming (which is useful in both relationship building and fighting monsters), and adventurous combat. The characters and events are lovable, to which some even brought tears to my eyes. And yes, I like even the mechanic of randomly triggered events, since they make me feel like it's a world that functions independently rather than one controlled by a program. It brings life to the game. Since there is a lot to do and accomplish in this game, I am proud to say I have invested hours and hours of gameplay to it.

A Perfect Balance

I love the game I love the story I like the lv systeam

Fair skies above the clouds come crashing down on a dragon in the form of a resilient hero, whose origins and intentions are unknown due to the unfortunate consequence of having lost all memories on impact. Noticing a unique ability to bring soil to life and connect with monsters, Ventuswill, the Divine Wind Dragon, issues you a proclamation: stay in this castle as royalty, and bring prosperity to the town of Selphia! Now called an 'Earthmate' for your talents, you must take on the responsibilities and wishes of the citizens, and it won't be easy.
